Testimonials: Community Feedback

"It was heart warming to see so many young people from such a wide variety of social and cultural backgrounds partaking so enthusiastically and clearly enjoying the experience. Play On are a role model for the kind of inclusive sporting activity that we would all hope to see in an Olympic legacy."

Mr Alderman, Gordon Haines

"A few special thanks from me go to first of all Play-On Sports, the venue was perfect for an event of this size, with the courts being spot on to accommodate the 5-a-side Quicksticks games that we were playing, a lot of schools commented to myself that they loved the idea of using the facility as it allowed them the space to play a more open game and also allowed for much easier viewing of the games…From the event we have managed to find around 10 new children that will hopefully join up with the TH District and Borough sides, who after New Year we are looking to start playing small sided games against clubs that are around area, and also further afield... Also to NGG Sports for donating money towards the event, it's great to see people taking an active interest in sport within Tower Hamlets, but specifically hockey."
